
Marvin Elder
Marvin Elder is the son of the late Mose Elder and Minnie Elder of Belzoni, Mississippi, and the fifth child of six. A determined and faith-driven individual, he lives by the scripture, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). Marvin is a graduate of Mississippi Valley State University and the Exodus School of the Bible, and is known as a go-getter who believes strongly in seeing every task through to completion.
Professionally, Marvin serves as Managing Director of Elders Investigations LLC & Process Service and recently completed his second term as Ward 4 Alderman for the City of Indianola as a Certified City Official. He is a former Board Member of the Mississippi Municipal League and currently serves as President of the 100 Black Men of the Mississippi Delta, Inc. His extensive civic involvement includes memberships in numerous professional and community organizations, including the NAACP, MVSU Alumni Association, private investigator and process server associations, and the Delta Housing Development Corporation, where he serves as Vice President of the Board. Marvin is married to his wife, Barnett, and together they have six children. He is a devoted member and Deacon at The New Green Grove Church of Faith in Greenwood, Mississippi, under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Milton Glass.
