• Grant Funding Received 

  • Grant from LISC (Local Initiative Support Corporation) 

  • Amount: $25,000

  • Purpose: To cover pre-development costs associated with the Bill Richardson subdivision to be located in Indianola, MS & the Sarah Coleman subdivision located in Shelby, MS, & a proposed subdivision in Mound Bayou, MS.

• In 2023, Delta Housing Development Corporation received a recoverable grant from Enterprise Community Partners for predevelopment and rehabilitation of a 56-unit property in Indianola — a recognition of DHDC’s housing work and leadership in rural affordable housing.

• In 2025, the organization was listed among grantees of the AARP Community Challenge for a project to develop affordable, adaptable homes for individuals age 50+ in Indianola.
